Le Bois Noir
It is a small venue which offers both dine in and take away services. Be not mislead! On the outside it looks like one of many, but once you have tasted the food you will experience its uniqueness. The restaurant is one of the best in Flic en Flac.
It is run by a lovely couple, Ravin and his wife. Its fish and seafood dishes, are absolutely delicious. The fish curry is a must try. And so is its grilled seafood with their heavenly garlic butter sauce. If you are looking for fresh seafood you must go to Le Bois Noir.
In reality all dishes are freshly made, with passion. The Chinese food (Meefoon, Bol Reversé, Mine Frite, Riz Frite) is as good as the seafood. There is a large choice in the menu with beef, chicken, shrimps (garlic butter, red sauce), squid and crab (crab broth, crab curry, sweet and sour crab ...), omelettes and salads. The desserts are also amazing with the traditional ‘Banane flambée’ being one of the favorites. The coffee served is Italian, a welcome change from other places.
