Creole Seafood Salads and Sandwiches Pizza Burger
At Dalon guests are welcomed at the restaurant as friends would be at home; the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The menu is original as at Dalon “We do nothing like the others” Homemade burgers are one of the favorites namely the Deer Burger (Burger Cerf).

Apart from the menu, the decoration as well is rustic and original straight out of a creative second-hand shop with recycled wood and metal, basin, bird cage, coconut shell. The serving tables and chairs are authentic wooden ones having the same recycled look.

They serve delicious fresh juices in cups made of steel (another special touch) bearing unique humorous names; 'Aime ta femme ou ton mari' (Love your wife or your husband) is a must taste boosting a blend of fresh orange juice, ginger and carrot. All the juices are freshly squeezed. You can also indulge in milkshakes.

Get ready to be amazed by the taste of the meals served, be it the homemade burgers, salads, Mauritian cuisine inspired pizzas meals everything is just so tasty. For the hungry ones: you have the chicken, beef and deer burgers, they are served with fries or salad, you also have 30 cm pizzas inspired once more by original products as well as local ones like the ‘Sounouk’ Pizza (sounouk is the local name for salted fish). They are all freshly made and delicious.

If you are on a healthy lifestyle or wish to have something lighter then you should definitely go for the salads. The octopus and calamari salad with combava is simply amazing. Then you have the ‘Meli Melo’ meals where you can have lasagna, linguini, frizza…

Dalon has also revisited the typical Mauritian crab soup. The crab soup Dalon style is made of spiced chicken, eggs and noodles. If you wish to have a meal inspired by typical Mauritian cuisine you will not be left apart as a number of Mauritian curries like the chicken curry, octopus curry, salmi, rougailles and vindaye are also available.

Finish your meal with a tiramisu, crème brulee or mousse au chocolat.

This is definitely a place worth a visit. It is one of the best places to eat on the island.
