Start with a visit to the Port Louis. Climb up to Fort Adelaide, known as 'The Citadel, visit the main Market and also Caudan Waterfront Pamplemousses Botanical Garden and marvel at the different species of plants and trees, including giant water lilies, sugar cane and spice plants. Continue to the quiet beach of Mont Choisy, backed by tall casuarina trees, where the shallow water is perfect for a refreshing swim away from the crowds.
