On the Coastal Road of Flic en Flac, at the south end of the main beach, lies Zub Express. It is a restaurant of 2 floors with a capacity of 60 seats on each floor offering a fusion cuisine. It offers dishes and specialities from both Indian and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is halal certified.
Zub Express has been operating since November 2003, and is a lovely spot opposite the beach. There is a parking space next to the restaurant. It’s a simple yet cozy, clean and comfortable dining space. You can dine in an open air area on the top floor offering a nice sea view.
It is advised to book if you wish to enjoy the spots on the terrace. The atmosphere is lovely with a soft music in the background. When talking about indian cuisine, most people think that all the dishes are spicy, rest assured its extensive menu card caters for those who like mild curries as well as those who like it more spicy.
If you are not an Indian food lover, you will still have the Chinese food options to choose from. The waiters will be glad to help you out with the best choice. They also provide alternatives to those having food allergies (ex: gluten intolerant). So, do not hesitate to mention any specific dietary requirements.
The biryani, naans and mango lassis are to die for as well as the masala curries (chicken, prawns, squid). The restaurant also offers take away service.
