There are 2 Happy Rajah restaurants on the island, one located within the Centre Commercial Phoenix (120 covers) and the other one located within the Super U Complex in the centre of Grand Bay (105 covers).
They are open every day for both lunch and dinner, for those on the go it also offers take away service. In each of the restaurant beautifully decorated with antique Rajasthani furniture, you will be welcomed in a warm and cosy ambiance. The brand has been created since 2006 by Mr Rajen Seeneevassen, a professional restaurateur who has run some of the most renowned restaurants on the island prior to opening his own restaurants which serves authentic indian cuisine.
Chef Bhola Singh together with 9 other professional Indian Chefs from North and South India presents to you the traditional cuisine of the 17th century Moghul Emperors of India as well as regional delicacies.
The restaurant’s à la carte menu features over 60 dishes including classics, masterfully roasted Tandooris, delicate curries such as Chennai spicy vindaloos and Goanese sea food delicacies, bake crisp naan bread and traditional desserts to complete your meals.The restaurant is visited every year by guests from all around the world including Indians who just appreciate having a piece of India while being on the island.
