Le Fangourin Restaurant is found in a magnificent setting at the Beau Plan Sugar Estate which brings us back to the memories of the old sugar factory. It is located close to the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens.
The restaurant offers you a view of nature at its best with an avenue of bougainvillea, coconut palms, its lush gardens displaying one of the best collection of hibiscus flowers of the island.
From the veranda you may contemplate the tropical countryside and admire in the distance the Pieter Both Mountain. It offers a refined cuisine with fresh products from the estate’s own garden but also adds local flavors to traditional dishes such as smoked marlin, Mauritian Sea-bream, and Lobster salad.
It also creates its own cocktails and delicious house-made deserts featuring famous special sugars from the estate, including Crème brûlée with fresh vanilla, Dark chocolate fondant with a hint of molasses, white chocolate parfait and selection of our traditional sherbets.
