This is a great place for lunch. The prices are reasonable and you can even enjoy rum cocktails at a good price. The grilled fish is delicious and pairs perfectly with the wash.
Such a great find! A veritable oasis, perfect lunch stop after a morning in the botanic gardens, getting ready to visit the museum next door. Massive thanks to Elisabeth too for excellent service.
Beautiful restaurant, friendly service and delicious food. Perfect place to eat after visit to the museum.
Visited here for lunch and tried out the Malaysian non veg and veg platter. But was disappointed as I found plastic in my fish in the non veg platter. Even more disappointing was there response they just changed the plate and brought a new one no apologies. After I demanded I meet the manager he appeared. Undercooked or overcooked is acceptable but plastic in the food is negligence.
Since my driver told me that I should try tuna in Mauritius (major exporter), I ordered the tuna carpaccio. The main dish reminded me of chicken tikka. Loved the dips for the croutons (mint & coconut, pineapple & tamarind and vegetable achar). If you are wondering about prices, this is MUR1,675. It’s a popular restaurant, so reservations recommended. I didn’t make one, but I was early, so they gave me a table that had a later reservation timing.
