La Cigale is a family owned restaurant located in the center of Pointe aux Canonniers where the owners have made the good decision of making their family cuisine known to Mauritians as well as tourists.
The restaurant is right on the road but everything else makes up for it. It serves classic and delicious homemade Italian food; with thin base pizzas, fresh pastas and meatballs being offered on the menu.
The ‘Norwegian’ pizza, spaghetti or tagliatelle a la Venetian, lasagne of shrimp with pesto sauce and bouquet of rocquette with balsamic vinegar, spaghetti or tagliatelle carbonara are must haves.
