As regards to the menu French Bistro offers of course dishes from traditional French cuisine but it has also included dishes with local products to please every taste. The personal touch of the Chef with his 38 years of experience makes all the difference; enjoy dishes that are a true delight for the taste buds.
What can you find in the menu? Here’s a sneak peek; From goat cheese on toast to traditional Mauritian snacks such as samosas in the ‘Mise en bouches’ menu to Risotto, tartar, foie gras, octopus salad to heart of palm salad in the starters menu and salmon steak, Provence style calamari stew, grilled catch of the day, pizzas, burgers and “Les délices du terroir” as main course to name a few only. It goes without saying that the menu has been crafted to accommodate Vegetarians as well.
French Bistro is not only open for lunch and dinner. In addition to the starters and main course for lunch and dinner, it has different servings for the whole day be it coffee and fresh juices for breakfast, the Bistro Patisserie with home made cakes, La Crèperie du Bistro (pancakes). Come and taste a coffee with home made cakes /pancakes for breakfast or ‘Le Goûter’.

To add up to the ambience, there is an inhouse entertainer during lunch and dinner time everyday (except on Mondays for lunch) namely the well known Mauritian artist; Didier Clarel. Get ready to be entertained with both French Songs and English Songs as well as our traditional Sega. If you have a specific request for a song it is most welcome. There is a Happy Hour every Friday from 17hrs00 to 20hrs00 followed by a Cabaret.
