My husband and I went here for our 20th anniversary. We had great and friendly service. Staff and guests were kind and polite. They carried our bags to our room. Food was great. We had 3 meals per day all inclusive. We also could stock our bar fridge daily with complimentary drinks. Overall the place was beautiful. The food was awesome. The people are friendly and the place is very safe. We encounterd one issue where there wasn't water. On our way to the beach we saw a staff member and told him. When we got back to the hotel room the issue was resolved.
I was skeptical after reading the reviews of this resort regarding many things but after staying there it cleared my dobuts. Some things i would like to clear about the resort as people have mentioned them in a bad light. I had half board as my package 1. The rooms were clean and not old, like things falling apart, there's nothing like that. 2. They didn't charge me for drinking water at breakfast or dinner. They didn't even charged me for cold drinks and wine although i was expecting it. So dont worry. 3. Good amount of water activities are available for free like glass boat, kayaking and snorkeling. 4. Pomelo restaurant has good service and food. 5. Overall the staff greets you with smile and is attentive. As an Indian i missed having more indian food options. So overall its a good resort given the price. It's a good value for money.
Great resort and highly recommended! The food offered a fantastic variety, with something for everyone. The views were absolutely beautiful, making it a perfect place to relax. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The all-inclusive package provided excellent value for money, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The only minor downside was that some days were a little breezy, as the resort is located on the east coast of the island and we visited during winter. However, this didn’t take away from our overall experience, and we would definitely stay here again.
We decided to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday in Mauritius and chose the Solana Beach Resort. What a fantastic decision. The holiday exceeded our expectations and the resort and its staff certainly did everything and more to make our stay enjoyable. The staff are so friendly and the food was delicious. The rooms are stunning with their magnificent sea views and our room was cleaned perfectly every day, thank you Jayrani and all the other ladies. My wife's 50th was made even more special with the help of the resort and the restaurant team. The manager at the restuarant Balram was top class and went out of his way to ensure Tracy evening was a memorable one. The activities around and on the resort are simply amazing and we were so spoilt for choice. Of course I cannot complete my review without mentioning the efforts of the entertainment team lead by Jerry and Anoosha....we had a great time, loved the shows and the DJs were on point. I must mention Ali and Bashir, our entertainment guys, who certainly made sure that everyone was fully occupied or entertained. I guess based on the welcome we received from Deepshika, we could sense that our stay was always going to be top class. She was amazing and so friendly.It's going to be so difficult to come back to Mauritius and stay at another hotel.
My stay at Solana Beach Resort was nothing short of wonderful. We did experience some minor hiccups at check in and there was a delay but once we were checked in it was smooth sailing. We were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness from every member of staff, making us feel truly valued and cared for throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Nishta from the food and catering team. She went above and beyond in looking after my mum, ensuring she was comfortably seated at every meal and even assisting her by bringing food from the buffet station to our table. Her kindness, attentiveness, and compassion made a lasting impression on us and added a very personal touch to our holiday. The resort itself is beautifully situated, with crystal-clear waters just steps away and the soothing sound of lapping waves creating an atmosphere of pure tranquility. It is the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and escape the busyness of everyday life. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We leave with beautiful memories and look forward to returning in the future. 🌴✨
