This 3-hour jungle trek (swimming time included) takes you to 4 of the 7 stunning waterfalls at Tamarind Falls. Let us safely guide you along lush hiking trails, through vibrant green forests, and down to a natural swimming pool where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Along the way, you’ll soak in incredible views of valleys and gorges, perfect for capturing memories of Mauritius’ untouched beauty. Hike the famous Tamarind Falls, also known as the 7 Cascades, together with our Mauritius Tourism Agency-certified guides from the nearby village. Unlike large agencies, our local company works only with guides who grew up in the neighbourhood and know these waterfalls as their backyard. Our guides are EFR-trained, so you can hike and swim safely. Along the way, your guide may teach you a few Creole words, show you medicinal plants, and help you spot birds or lizards while sharing stories of Mauritian life and culture. After swimming in the natural pools formed by the waterfalls, we take a break for a delicious Mauritian picnic of rotis, and some fruit, freshly prepared by a local family.
