Named after the iconic waterfalls just steps away, 7 Cascades Lodge is nestled deep in the lush heart of western Mauritius. “Cascades” means waterfalls in French, and here you’ll find 11 of them within walking distance, along with cliff-jumping spots, forest trails, and crystal-clear natural ponds.

This tranquil eco-lodge is perfect for nature lovers, peace seekers, and outdoor adventurers. It also serves as a versatile venue for weddings, family reunions, company retreats, and sporting events, offering an exceptional natural setting with the added bonus of professional planning support.

Comfort in the Wild

The lodge features six accommodation units in total. Five are identical regular lodges, each offering a spacious bedroom, a private bathroom, a comfortable seating area, a mini bar, and a veranda for soaking in the surrounding greenery. These lodges can comfortably accommodate two to four guests and are designed to provide a sense of privacy and serenity amidst nature.

The sixth unit is a spacious family lodge, ideal for groups or larger families. It includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining space, a private bar, and an outdoor lounge area. A private swimming pool—available with optional heating—completes the experience. This lodge can host up to eight people, making it a perfect fit for those seeking a more luxurious and communal stay.

Dining with a View

The open-air restaurant at 7 Cascades Lodge is open to both residents and the public from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding forested mountains and valleys, with natural floral decorations gracing the tables. The menu showcases a variety of flavorful Mauritian dishes, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients

The lodge is also well-equipped to host events for up to 150 people. Functions can be held in the main restaurant area, a fully equipped conference room, or the scenic lake-view terrace, which is particularly popular for its tranquil ambiance. Reservations are recommended during weekends and holidays.

Guests of the lodge have access to a range of complimentary on-site recreational activities, including pool, ping pong, darts, football, croquet, and tennis volley. For those craving outdoor exploration, the lodge can arrange numerous off-site excursions.

Popular options include guided hikes to the breathtaking Seven Cascades waterfalls, jungle treks to hidden viewpoints, and ATV rides through lush reserves such as Katang and Mare Longue. These excursions often include visits to landmarks like the Tamarind Falls reservoir, Le Morne Lagoon, and the spiritual site of Ganga Talao. For the adventurous spirit, other activities such as canyoning, archery, fishing, and kayaking are also available upon request.
