Mauritius Beach - Trou aux Biches

A lot of tourists prefer Trou aux Biches as it’s a safe place for children. Sunbathing can be enjoyed on the clean beach, and water sports lovers shouldn’t miss the snorkelling at Trou aux Biches. The resort is more like a typical Mauritian village, where locals live in perfect harmony with nature, while at the same time, retaining their traditional charm.

Trou aux Biches offers open spaces, romantic roofed bungalows, tropical architecture, and palm shaded tropical gardens, making it a picturesque resort. There are a few hotels which offer dining for non-residents. The beautiful public beach is within five minutes walking distance to all the amenities, including supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants and hotels.

There are sun loungers on the beach which can be rented and a nice parking area is set out just before the beach. There are many boats in the lagoon as it is a fishing village but there is still enough space for you to enjoy the sea and have a great time.

Both the police station and the coast guard are only a 1-2 minutes from the beach so if you have any problem, there is always be an experienced person close by.
