Description
After pick-up from your accommodation, your journey begins early in the morning with a guided mountain sunrise adventure - Le Morne or Piton Canot. There is absolutely no better way to kick-start your day! Watch the sunrise behind the majestic Mauritian mountains as the forest becomes alive with the melodious songs of our exotic and endemic birds. After this 3-4 hour mountain experience, our road-trip begins with breakfast by-the-beach or to a nearby local restaurant. After enjoying your meal, our journey continues to a lesser-known stunning viewpoint in Chamarel, far-away from the touristic spot with a 10-minute relaxing forest hike. Your guide will be happy to share fundamental facts and myths not only of the surrounding area but of the whole island. Our next destination will be the Chamarel 7 Coloured Earth Geo Park. You will have the opportunity to discover the Chamarel Waterfall on the way to the 7 Coloured Earth. Chamarel Waterfall is the highest single-drop waterfall in Mauritius, which is approximately 95 meters. Discover the mesmerising dunes of the 7 Coloured Earth and encounter the majestic Aldabra tortoises. Your journey continues to the Black River Gorges viewpoint, one of the most stunning vistas in Mauritius. This viewpoint unveils nature's masterpiece - a breathtaking symphony of lush greenery and winding valleys. Create a timeless moment on your out-of-the-ordinary road-trip by next visiting the Alexandra Falls viewpoint. Depending on your itinerary, you may also opt to go down the Alexandra Waterfall. Your next destination on the itinerary is Ganga Talao, commonly known as Grand Bassin, a sacred haven in Mauritius where serenity embraces spirituality, and the reflective water of the crater lake mirrors a profound sense of peace and devotion, echoing the essence of Hinduism and culture. Your guide will be happy to share a wealth of knowledge of the significance of this place as you walk around the lake in total zen attitude. Your last activity of this one-of-a-kind road-trip is another short (approximately 10-minute) nature walk in one of the most gorgeous gardens of the island. You will then proceed in moving back to your accommodation.Includes
