ROOMS

With a spacious 60 square metres the Superior Room First Floor is an open plan space on the first floor with a terrace leading to views of the tropical plant life that makes Mauritius so beautiful. The Deluxe Room makes the best of its 60 square metre floor plan with plenty of sunlight lighting up the open plan flow of the room. Step onto a the terrace and take in the view, or get ready for a day out in the en-suite bathroom complete with marble fitting for added touch of luxury.

There is also the Deluxe Ground Floor unit that has two extra beds available on request making it the perfect family room.

With hints of dark wood and orange, the warmth of the Junior Suite is only countered by the view of turquoise waters from the terrace that is only a few steps away from the beach. With 75 square metre open plan design, the bedroom and lounge have an-suite bathroom and terrace with outdoor furniture for romantic sunsets.

The Senior Suite is a spacious and luxurious corner of the resort where guests can spread out in 120 square metres of warm-toned space situated in a quiet section of the resort for privacy. A small reception area leads into the living room and dining room area, while the separate large bedroom is decked out in natural light and wooden touches. The en-suite bathroom has a view of the room and features a separate bathtub and shower, and two sinks so each guest can have a space to get ready. From the bedroom there is a furnished terrace with views of the bay.

Made for the business person who still wants a touch of luxury, the 120 square metre Executive Suite is refined environment with meeting spaces and sleek fittings. The suite has a fax machine, telephone and Wi-Fi and it is equipped with everything a corporate individual would need. A furnished terrace provides an outdoor meeting space, while the holiday feel is never far off with the beautifully decorated bedroom.

Situated upstairs in the resort, the Ocean view Room is an adults-only haven where couples can enjoy privacy away from families and other guests. The 50 square metres of the room is designed to be light and airy, creating a quiet space where honeymooners are able to cosy up. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub, and the room has a terrace providing endless views pool and ocean beyond.

Making for a unique experience, the Swim-Up Room is directly attached to the hotel’s swimming pool. Enjoy the poolside terrace, or elegant wooden finishes of the interior room. Measuring 50 square metres, the room is decked in light colours to enhance to space, and is open plan with an en-suite bathroom.

Decked out in natural tones and boasting a roomy 120 square metres of space, the Family Apartment is ideal for large families who need a space to call home while exploring all the resort has on offer. These apartments are situated all three floors of the hotel, and each has a terrace area with ocean and pool views. The outdoor area has sun loungers where family members can catch some sun, and the large en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and bath tub. Kids are also afforded their own bathroom in their own room, and the apartments are situated in the crescents of the hotel.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Le Superbe is hailed as the main dining area of the hotel with space for up to 400 diners. The buffet serves up international flavours and there are live cooking shows that really bring the atmosphere to life. Guests can choose to dine al fresco, inside or poolside depending on the weather or their preference.

At La Casa, guests can indulge in Italian fare while being bathed in views of Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. The intimate restaurant opens for dinner and seats only 80 guests, six nights a week. Romance is in the air at the restaurant with dark wood and wrought iron furniture setting the scene. Expect pasta, salad and rich risottos.

Serving dinner six nights a week, L’Horizon is a seafood restaurant with a beachside setting to compliment the menu. Dishes are built around the freshest catches of the day, and the décor adequately reflects the theme of the venue with fishnets hung from the roof.

Creating an exclusive atmosphere, Morris Beef is a venue for adult diners only that serves breakfast and dinner. There are stunning views of the Western coast promising a striking sunset while dining on the finest steak on the island.

SPA

The spa at Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa is an intimate setting measuring only 250 square metres; however the design creates a comforting atmosphere with five treatment rooms ensuring privacy for guests. There are seven therapists on hand, ensuring that no guest is left uncared for and there is also a sauna and haram for those who just need to unwind in quietude.

ACTIVITIES

Showcasing exactly what makes a tropical getaway so memorable, the resort has a bevy of activities available for guests to enjoy.

Work off the buffet at the sports centre, or head to water to take advantage of all that Victoria’s lagoon and beach has on offer.

Try snorkelling, windsurfing or simply sail out on a glass bottom boat for a serene day out. Over on the land guests are free to play a round of tennis and football, or they can try mountain biking to explore the surrounds.
