Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel
The Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel is on the eastern coast of Mauritius and is situated on one of the most spectacular beaches on the island. There is a kilometre long of beautiful white sand and it can be wonderful just strolling along dipping your feet in the ocean now and again. The beach is cleaned every day and beach towels are included in the price of your room.
You will find thatched roofs at the hotel, with pristine white-washed walls and an enormous bougainvillea. There is also a tropical garden filled with palm trees.
This 3-star hotel suits both couples and families and offers half-board and all inclusive. You will be impressed by the service you get and the decor of your rooms.

RESTAURANTS & BARS
There are two restaurants at the hotel. The main restaurant is the Regatta which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Here you will find a buffet which serves both Mauritian and international food. You will be pleased to know that you can eat as much as you want!
The Horizon is open for lunch and dinner and is set on the beach with fantastic views out to sea. Seafood is a speciality at this restaurant and you will find that much of the food is barbecued, giving it its’ own unique and delicious flavour.
There is a bar called the Barracuda which is situated in the heart of the hotel. It’s open from 11 a.m. until 11 pm. and light meals are served during the day. It’s a great place to relax with a welcoming cocktail before heading off to dinner.
SPA
If you feel like a little pampering and want to re-energize your mind and body, head down to the Seven Colours Wellness Lounge. Here you will find two treatment rooms, a free sauna, and manicure and pedicure. You won’t just get a simple massage here. Instead, according to your energy and mood, you will get a personalized treatment.
ACTIVITIES
Although there is a beautiful swimming pool, the centre of all the activities is the beach. There are many free activities included in the price of your room. Take out a kayak or go stand-up paddle boarding. Windsurf and snorkel or take a trip on a glass bottom boat and explore the mysteries of the deep.
At an extra cost, enjoy diving, kite surfing, parasailing, deep sea fishing, and water skiing. You can also go out on a pirate cruise which the kids will love, or take a trip out on a catamaran
If you like to keep your feet firmly on the ground, try out beach volleyball, petanque, darts, and table tennis. A rickshaw ride which will take you into local life can also be booked.
There is an inclusive kids club for 3 – 11 year olds so your children will be kept happy and entertained for the length of your stay.
The hotel hosts themed evenings which give you a glimpse into Mauritian life, and you can dance the night away to live music.
