The Vibe
Create. Direct. Perform. The Scriptwriting, Directing & Acting Workshop – 2025 is an unmissable opportunity for aspiring and professional artists to refine their craft under the guidance of two internationally acclaimed mentors — Chris Edmund (Australia) and Romi Poonoosamy (Mauritius). Hosted by Santral Art Ltd, this six-day intensive program bridges global expertise with Mauritian creativity, offering hands-on training in every aspect of theatre-making — from crafting compelling scripts and directing performances to mastering the art of acting for stage and screen.
Participants will explore the entire creative journey of storytelling — writing, interpreting, and bringing characters to life — while learning world-class techniques, teamwork, and artistic discipline. Expect a dynamic mix of theory, performance labs, group collaboration, and personal feedback sessions, culminating in a showcase of talent and vision.

Recipient of the Chris Edmund Performing Arts Scholarship (New York, 2015), he brings decades of experience as a director and educator in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia.
Romi Poonoosamy (Mauritius)
