Description

Discover VallePark (formerly La Vallée des Couleurs), a wide open nature and adventure park in the lush south of Mauritius. Your admission gives you access to the park’s walking trails, panoramic viewpoints, waterfalls and the island’s unique 23-Coloured Earth, layers of volcanic sands that show ripples of red, purple, yellow and blue. It’s a simple, relaxed day out where you choose your pace: wander, take photos, and add activities if you want more action. Start with the 23-Coloured Earth. Boardwalks and lookouts make it easy to see the colours from different angles and learn how they were formed. Continue along the paths to the waterfalls hidden in the valley. Vacoas, Cheveux d’Ange and Chamouzé are favourites for their setting and the sound of falling water. There are places to pause, take pictures and enjoy the shade. If you’re in the mood for adventure, the park offers paid activities you can add on site. Try classic and long ziplines over the valley, a bicycle zipline, or cross the suspended Nepalese Bridge. Go off-road on quad bikes or buggies, or ride the mountain luge kart. Families can follow easy nature trails and look for deer, tortoises and bright birds. There’s also a kids’ area with gentler options, so everyone has something to do. When it’s time to eat, head to Le Chamouzé Restaurant for dining by a waterfall view.
