Take on Le Morne Brabant together on a private hike with your own local guide: part professional mountain guide, part storyteller, and probably the person encouraging you and keeping the smiles going when it gets steeper. If you’re staying in Le Morne or La Gaulette, we’ll even pick you up. The adventure starts gently, winding through the landscape to a first viewpoint with a spectacular 180° panorama. Take your photos, catch your breath and enjoy it… for the second part, that brings more challenge and fun! This second part is steeper, rockier and much more adventurous. You’ll use your hands, help each other, laugh at each other, and challenge yourselves as you make your way towards the famous viewpoint near the summit. Your guide knows the mountain inside out and is there to show you the best way up, keep everyone safe and adapt the pace to your group. And this isn’t just about reaching the top. Our guides come from Le Morne village, and this mountain is part of their home and heritage. Along the way, you’ll hear the powerful history behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site, discover plants, and understand why Le Morne Brabant means so much to Mauritius. • The second part gets steeper and more adventurous: expect to use your hands as well as your feet. But don't worry, nothing too technical!
• Families are very welcome. We adapt the stories, pace and explanations to younger adventurers too: no boring history lectures, promise.
• A reasonable level of fitness helps. You don’t need to be an athlete, but Le Morne does expect a little effort in exchange for that view.
• Come with good shoes, some energy and your sense of humour. We’ll bring the guide, the stories and the encouragement
