Description

Begin with hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle from your accommodation. A professional driver-guide shares insights into Mauritius’ history and geography as you journey through scenic landscapes.

Your first stop is Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant volcano offering panoramic views of Curepipe and nearby towns. Walk the crater rim and photograph the dramatic scenery. Next, visit Mare aux Vacoas reservoir, a tranquil spot surrounded by greenery.

Continue to Ganga Talao, a sacred Hindu lake and temple complex in the highlands. Explore the grounds, view the towering statues, and learn about the site's spiritual importance. Then visit Alexandra Falls, where water cascades into a lush valley, followed by the Black River Gorges viewpoint for expansive views of dense forest.
