Begin your adventure with a warm welcome at the embarkation point. Once everyone is aboard the comfortable speedboat, the captain will start with a briefing but important safety orientation. Start your journey by cruising gently through the mangrove-lined coastal waterways. Continue upriver to one of the few waterfalls in Mauritius accessible by boat, the Grand River South East Waterfall. Watch as fresh water cascades over basalt rocks into the sea, a refreshing sight contrasting beautifully with the ocean. Along the lush riverside, keep an eye out for monkeys climbing and playing among the trees, plus glimpses of Mauritius’ rich wildlife.
