Your hiking trip to Black River Gorge begins with a hotel pick-up anywhere in Mauritius. Located in the hilly southwest of Mauritius, the Black River Gorge extends over an area of 6,754 hectares of the surface of Mauritius Island! It harbors over 300 species of native and endemic flowering plants and 9 species of birds, which are found only in Mauritius.
