For larger families, the Family Suite is the ideal getaway spot for those in search of comfort and privacy. At 93 square metre, the suite has been cleverly designed to maximise the space with an open-plan master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, as well as a private children’s room with its own bathroom. There is also a private outdoor shower and terrace with access to a private pool shared only with the crescent.
Providing the utmost in privacy, the 246 square metre 2-Bedroom Pool Villa is hidden in a village setting away from the bustle of resort life. Two bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom share a common living area that leads to the private pool of the villa. A private valet meets whatever needs guests may have, and there is an American style kitchen, ideal for nights in after a day of adventuring about the island. There is also a private barbecue area where families can gather as the sun sets to cook up something special. A special feature is the outdoor gazebo boasting an outdoor shower and deep-soak tub, perfect for unwinding.

RESTAURANTS & BAR
Offering more than most, Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa boasts six restaurants, with four found at the centre of the action surrounding the pools, and two located in a quieter setting near the beach.
Starting with La Caravelle, guests will find a decadent buffet, breakfast, lunch and dinner in a seaside setting at the edge of the resort’s beach. Expect international flavours served on a wooden promenade as the sunset is reflected in the surrounding ponds. There is also a bar area and private gazebo for intimate dinners away from the crowd.
Il Corallo is where Italian flavour comes to life, also next to a beachside setting under a thatched roof. Enjoy a private dinner in the gazebo that can be found away from the main restaurant, or simply grab a seat and watch the waves lap at the shore while dining on exceptionally fresh produce.
As the main restaurant of the resort, L'Oasis serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at the edge of the resort’s main pool, while not compromising its ocean views. There is a mouth-watering array of dishes available at the buffet, and once a week guests are treated to a Mauritian market buffet, making the best of all that local cuisine has to offer.
For those in need of a quick bite, heading to Le Deck offers up light seafood cuisine served on wooden deck boasting endless ocean views.
At the foot of a wooden path lies Blue Ginger, a haven of Thai culture and cuisine serving dinner six nights per week. With décor designed to pay respectful homage to origins of the food, guests are treated to an open-show kitchen where the chef shows off his culinary skills.
Showcasing the best of Indian culture not only through the warm flavours of the food, but also the décor, Mahiya is designed to make diners feel as though they are dining a royal palace six nights a week. Dinner is a sumptuous extravaganza as meals are served on copper dishes with golden glasses, as a cithara player sets the tone of the evening in the background.
Lastly for a quick refreshment, guests can head to La Caravelle Bar and sip on a wide selection of rums and champagnes.
Making the most of the tropical environment and curative properties of water, the 2,897 square metre Trou aux Biches' spa is built around a central pool with treatment areas and deck chairs bordering it. Once guests are settled with a welcome drink and towel, they are led to air-conditioned cabins for their treatments. For those in search of true privacy and pampering there is a separate wing portioned off by a wall opposite the pool with thirteen cabins separated by pathways beneath a pergola covered in greenery - an ideal space to indulge in a massage or facial and really let the tropics work its magic.
Guests of Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa are afforded access to the prestigious Mont Choisy Le Golf, golf course. Noted as the 18-hole course found on the Northern side of the island, it is ideal for players of varying handicaps. Guests staying in a golf suite are treated to daily access and a gold cart, and an advantage when booking tee times.
Although exercise is not everyone’s ideal holiday activity, the sports centre provides more than just a treadmill. Professional instructors can assist with private classes, and aching muscles can take a break in the hammam. For those who prefer the outdoors, the floodlit tennis courts for a friendly game or two, or try some volleyball.
However if the sparkling waters of Mauritius are calling, head to the boathouse and indulge in of the activities available.
