At Sands, everything comes designed in rich earthy tones of tans browns and greys with wood furniture and a relaxing yellow glow to each room. Sands offers its guests 4 different suite styles depending on your budget and the location of the suite in the resort that you prefer. 

Each suite comes air-conditioned with a phone, minibar, free wifi, flat-screen TV, tea/coffee, shower and bath tub, hair dryer, wardrobe, and more. 

Superior Suite is on the first and second floor and can come in either one king size bed or in two twin beds. Each come with a balcony facing the beach. 

The Deluxe Suite on the other hand is on the ground floor and have beautiful garden terraces facing the beach as well. 

The Beachfront Suites are just next to the sea and come with either a beautiful garden patio or large balcony. These are perfectly setup so you can relax while watching the sun setting across the water.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Sands Mauritius offers its guests many dining options within the resort to keep you full and happy including 3 restaurants, 1 bar and beachfront dining options. 

Buffet lovers head to the Tamarind Terrace to enjoy themed buffet style dining for Breakfast or Dinner. Dress code required for dinner being smart casual. If you want a more exclusive dining setup, Spices is a perfect place with perfect white tablecloths and offering Mediterranean and local entrees. 

For something more romantic head to the Pink Peppercorn which is their beautiful beachfront restaurant open for dinner only. It requires a reservation and a smart casual dress and offers guests many different seafood options to enjoy. 

A relaxing evening wouldn’t be complete without a nice cocktail and live music at the Dolphin Bar located at the center of the resort in an open-concept setting. 

Sands also offers in-room dining options and also by request they can create a beachfront romantic dinner for two if you want a private option. 

SPA

Sands has 4 private treatment rooms including couple’s rooms with many massage options to ensure you leave feeling relaxed and comfortable. They also allow free use of their private sauna and hammam and have an on-site hairdresser and makeup experts. 

There is also an onsite gym with the most important fitness equipment so you can keep up with your fitness routines whether that be cardio or weight lifting. Personal trainers are also available by request for support, workout routines, or stretching needed. 

ACTIVITIES

With Sands perfect location by the sea, there is a large variety of FREE water sports and activities including water skiing, paddle boards, sailing, pedal boats, kayaks, glass bottom boat, windsurfing, snorkeling, and wake boarding. There is also a diving center, deep sea fishing, and dolphin watching available for an additional charge. 

If you’re looking for more land-sports activities they also have two large tennis courts, table tennis, bocce balls, yoga sessions, bike tours, and a nice walk to the local village of Tamarin. 

If you’re a golf enthusiast you can request to go to the Tamarina golf course which is a professional 18-hole champion golf course.
