⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Anakao in Mauritius and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic island experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere, stunning ocean views, and a fantastic location. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the entire property was very well maintained. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the incredible staff. A special thank you goes to Patricia at the reception. She was simply amazing throughout our stay—always welcoming, kind, professional, and genuinely caring. No request was ever too much, and she always greeted us with a smile. Patricia made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors, and her warmth added so much to our experience. We would also like to give a special mention to Zulu, the hotel's wonderful dog. He quickly became one of the highlights of our stay! Seeing him every day always put a smile on our faces. He was incredibly friendly and had such a calm, reassuring presence. Zulu made us feel safe and at home, and it was clear that he is a beloved part of the Anakao family. Thank you to Patricia, Zulu, and the entire Hotel Anakao team for making our holiday so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and hope to return one day. Highly recommended!
Loved every bit of staying here, hosts are amazing, warm and friendly, food is great.. service is impeccable, would definitely stay again... It offers a nice, comfy, cozy and a private setting.. peaceful and comes with amazing views
In general a good place to stay if you want peace of mind and a calm area where you could have some good rest. But I like activities when I stay in hotels. Another minus is that the access gate is close every time and needs to make a sign and wait for door to be opened (sometimes wait can take a bit of time ) or enter by a code. Not really my type specially for hotels. I advise to have a gate man in such case Breakfast limited option. Dinner have to be order earlier if you plan dinner at the hotel
