Gardens Retreat
The bus stop is close by if you want to go to Grand Baie, a bustling village with shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars.
Gardens Retreat is made up of eight self-catering bungalows, each fenced off from the other, and situated in a private tropical garden. It’s the ideal place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet.
ROOMS
The bungalows have one, two, or three bedrooms so you can bring the whole family.
All of the bungalows are fitted with a kitchen and have a microwave, electric oven, gas plate, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. There is also a barbecue on your private patio.
Towels and linen are provided and the rooms are cleaned daily. You will find that the maids are all very cheerful, chatty, and do a great job.
There is also a self-service laundry on site.

RESTAURANT
There isn’t a restaurant at Gardens Retreat, but it’s a short walk to the centre of Pereybere where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. If you want to go to Grand Baie to eat, it’s a ten minute drive away.
Fresh bread is provided free each morning and there is a supermarket close by.
In addition, you can arrange to have someone cook you a typical Mauritian meal in your bungalow.
ACTIVITIES
There are two swimming pools, one for each set of four bungalows. They are cleaned twice a day.
There are no other activities at the Gardens Retreat, but excursions can be arranged to places like Port Louis, Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, and La Vanille Nature Park. If you want to go fishing this can easily be arranged either in Pereybere or Grand Baie.
From Grand Baie you can discover the northern islands by catamaran or go diving.
OTHER FACILITIES
There is free Wi-Fi at Gardens Retreat.
The staff can arrange car hire for you and there is free parking for one car outside each bungalow.
A babysitting service is also available.
