Emeraude Beach Attitude

The hotel is on the east coast of Mauritius facing Belle Mare beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You can stroll across kilometres of white sand and return for a welcome cocktail prepared by Coco, who stands with his beach cart on the sand in front of the hotel.

The Emeraude Beach Attitude is a hotel for just adults and it offers an all-inclusive package which includes a trip on the glass bottom boat and snorkelling.

ROOMS

There are just 61 rooms which makes the service more personal. A lovely touch is that the staff turn the towels into animals and sprinkle flowers over them. Adorning the walls and bedspreads are amazing pictures of seashells and shellfish.  

There is a choice of two rooms. Both the standard and superior rooms have a furnished terrace or balcony and a double bed. The only difference is that the superior room is 5m2 larger than the standard room and it has a DVD player.

RESTAURANTS & BAR

There are three restaurants at the Emeraude Beach Attitude. Les Alizes is the main restaurant and it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All meals are buffet style, although at lunch or dinner you can choose from a set menu. Both local Mauritian food and international cuisine is served and in the evening there is a themed buffet.

Kou Nou opens four days a week for dinner and the cuisine is very much local and worth trying.

Taba-j has a Mauritian street food concept and is open for lunch and late afternoon snacks. This is a vegetarian’s paradise.

There is one bar called the Tides Bar and it’s open from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Of course, you also have Coco on the beach who serves cocktails from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

SPA

Are you in need of pampering and relaxation? If so, head over to the spa and feel rejuvenated in both mind and spirit. There are two treatment rooms and a variety of massages are on offer, as well as body care and facials. The products used in the treatments are all natural and come from Mauritius. You will certainly be able to relax with the amazing essential oils being used in all treatments.

GOLF

If you want to play golf, ask at reception and it can be provided at an extra cost on a local golf course.

ACTIVITIES

If you have had enough of sunbathing, why not take part in one of the activities offered by the hotel. 

There are two swimming pools here and if you want to do something on the ocean, take the glass bottom boat or go snorkelling.

If you are a land lover, play darts, petanque, table tennis, board games, or beach volley. There is also pool at extra cost.

OTHER FACILITIES

If it’s your birthday or anniversary, be sure to tell the staff. You might get a special breakfast served with prosecco or a 5-course dinner menu with a personal butler in the evening. Musicians may even play for you and a cake and cocktails will round off the evening nicely.
