The place where we found paradise. We stayed at C Mauritius celebrating our “late honeymoon” and enjoyed every bit of it. The food was very good and we were happy that we had a lot of options every day. We definitely loved the views and every corner of this resort especially the pools. The staff is very friendly and kind always ready to help you with anything you need. Also we want to mention that we loved spending our nights at C Bar with good music and the best cocktails made by the most talented and lovely bartender Serresh (I don’t know if it’s the correct spelling). We have had such an unforgettable stay at C Mauritius! We spent one week there with the all-inclusive package, and it was really worth it. The resort is located on the East coast, which seems to be more quiet and peaceful than the other side. The staff has been really kind, always checking on us if we needed anything, and going the extra mile to ensure we were happy. The food was quite diverse, with a lot of vegetarian and fish options, and everything was really tasty. They also have a very nice gym, which I did not expect based on the pictures - it is quite big, with all the equipment you need and modern machines! They also offer a couple of fitness classes - I had quite a few with the coach Elodie, who is very kind, knowledgable and professional! Definitely go to one of her classes if you stay at the resort - you won’t regret it. Last but not least, their spa is also extremely nice - I went for a massage and the service was very professional and worth every penny! Overall, I cannot recommend C Mauritius enough, and I hope to be able to come back one day. Special thanks to Karen, who answered all of our questions before our arrival, Souraj & Shane at the bar who made sure we always had a drink on our table, and all the other staff members!
The room is basic. The food is fine, the staff is lovely. The beach is amazing for walks but not much for other activities due to the wind. They have an app but they take a lot of time to respond on that. Other information on there is OK. Kayak was not available on most days and there was no information about tide timing. Happy hour, overall drinks and snacks are good. A few bars to choose from. The coffee is dispensed via machines and it isnt good. Barista made is slightly better. They offer a free bottle of water at dinner which is very helpful considering how expensive is water in the hotel otherwise. The Gym is fantastic- spacious with new machines and there is also an outdoor area for calisthenics. Would recommend going to other hotels for lunch and stock up on water. There is a grocery store 10 min drive from the hotel.
We stayed here for two nights at the end of April and overall had a lovely experience. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. The check-in briefing was thorough, though it took about an hour. As we arrived at 1pm and check-in officially starts at 2pm, we completely understand that some waiting time is expected. That said, it would have been appreciated to receive our room numbers earlier so we could head to lunch while waiting. The rooms were cozy, clean, and tastefully designed. We had a garden view room located close to the pool, which worked perfectly for us as it made things easy and enjoyable for the kids. The food at the main restaurant was consistently delicious, and the service was attentive. We especially recommend the Asian restaurant for lunch; quick, flavorful, and with beautiful views over the beach and lagoon. We also enjoyed sundowners by the beach bar both evenings. A small improvement could be to have waiters occasionally check in at the tables, as it would enhance the overall comfort instead of guests needing to go up to the bar. These are only minor suggestions, and they didn’t take away from our stay. We had a good time overall — it’s a fun spot for families, with plenty to keep children entertained, from the water trampoline to the swings and beach volleyball.
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at C Mauritius as a family of five, with three children ranging from 5 to 15 years old. While the resort itself is fantastic, it is the exceptional team that truly makes this place special. Under the leadership of the General Manager, Olivier, the level of hospitality is world-class. From the moment we arrived, Tanvi at reception made us feel incredibly welcome. The dining experience was equally impressive; Julien runs a tight ship in the dining room and, supported by Christianne, Kavish, and Zayrah, ensured every meal was a pleasure for both the adults and the kids. The food was a highlight of our trip. A huge thank you to the wonderful chefs and cooks, including Obi, Sannam, and Hensley—the flavours and variety were outstanding. At the beach restaurant, we were looked after so well by Seilesh, and for all our water activities, Viddam and Ashok were both fantastic and attentive with the children. Megan in the e-zone was also great to deal with. Finally, a special shout-out to Petem, who kept our rooms spotless and comfortable throughout our entire stay. This resort is a gem, but it’s these individuals who turn a great holiday into an unforgettable one. We can’t wait to return!
