THE PRIMATIVE Ö 2018 : FATIMA YAMAHA, EELKE KLEIJN

Dear Primative öbor,

Following the last 24 months of research and development, The Primative Ö opens its doors for the third time on Saturday 4th of August bringing every öbor into another journey to their Primative state.

With a quality filled program, this annual edition will introspect different movements in electronic music’s legacy, while hosting a contemporary tastemaker and local emerging talents.

Without compromising on quality and intimacy, we are offering series of pre-designed features in order to extend the experience while operating in a well preserved sanctuary located in the South West of the island, Case Noyale.

2016 saw The Primative Ö’s emancipation with the French improviser Jacques, who delivered unexpected dance music performances. It’s with a similar state of mind that we are going to receive Dekmantel’s talented artist : Fatima Yamaha.

With a name that introduces both sides of his mystery - “a young lady born to a Japanese father and a Turkish mother” – Bas Bron aka Fatima Yamaha form part of those visionary producers.

But it took fully eight years to finally spread this idea that the Dutch musician is the synth virtuoso with the electronic scene going mad for that long-forgotten song, “What’s A Girl To Do”.

After two fully sold out tours during the past two years, the mystery remains. The refined house offered in his live sets lives up to expectations when it comes to master the art of melody.
