Local Brew at Backstage

Backstage & Nou lemorne presents 'Local Brew’. A blend of the music from the Mascarene Islands fused with electronic influences. It has as foundation in keeping a raw and unprocessed essence of the islands’ vibration.

Following the session, we have our local artist, Avneesh and Daniel Monaco from Italy.

Avneesh, an artist who has endeavored in making his music heard, through his deck-spinning manoeuvres, whether in his homeland of MAURITIUS, or to far-reaching horizons by pulling the curtains on geographical boundaries, will be sharing a diverse and heavy bag of tunes. Most essentially, due to his aspect of viewing a stage in multiple perspectives, that is from his view to the eyes and ears of the audience, creating an optimal and effervescent atmosphere.

Daniel is a musician and producer loving 80s electro synth wave, jazz, library music, dub... Anything he loves, he's gonna play it. For him, music is too good to be unidirectional. Daniel already worked with label such as: Mawimbi, Trax Records, Percebes, Broadcite, 339Records, Slow Motion, Bordello a Parigi.
