House of the Sun at Long Beach 19-20 May

Sun Resorts introduces you to the House of the Sun: Every Friday and Saturday night, as the sun goes down, the volume is turned up and Mauritius’ most en-vue DJs come together with musicians or vocalists to bring Balearic tunes to our shores.

This weekend’s line-up is as follows: 
Friday 18th May 9PM – 11PM Roxanne Lebrasse ft Micromoon
Saturday 19th May 9PM – 11PM Sellecx ft Jean-Luc Rousselin

About the artists: 
Faya Sound System is a Funky house outfit with DJ MicroMoon featuring the soulful vocals of Roxanne Lebrasse. 

There is one thing that is for sure, is that when you hear her voice it gives you shivers, and this is why Roxanne made it to the finalist of the Australian Idol Show. Her capability of adapting her voice is phenomenal, sometimes jazzy, and sometimes soulful. Roxanne makes every song beautiful. 

DJ Micromoon was selected among some of the best Djs of the Island to get onboard of the Ministry of Sound DJ Academy in 2015. Since then, he has made his way up to be resident DJ in some of the most beautiful hotels in Mauritius. And not stopping there, Micromoon is a new producer and surely a talent to watch in the coming year.

Sellecx made his debut as a Dj in private parties for friends and families. Former resident Dj for the famous club of Zanzibar for eight magical years and considering himself as a generalist Dj, he always appropriates the different sets, but with a very technical and musical complementary style to rock the clubbers. However, his love for House electronic music always took over during his set. Since June 2015 till now, Sellecx has joined the Royal Carribean Cruise Team as a Dj and has played on their main cruise ships.

Jean-Luc Rousselin is someone as soon as he gets on the drum, you can feel the passion when he plays. His smile is communicative and the good vibes go through. His skills on the percussion get him to play in a lot of different venues where he can experience a lot of different style of music. He has the ability to adapt and to give different rhythm to each track he plays on.
