The Malenga Quartet, which marked the revival of classical concerts in Mauritius in 2004, returns in February 2019, 15 years later. Do not miss this unique opportunity to find them on stage and rediscover these rare talents.
Their repertoire in the classical field includes such well-known pieces as: Pachelbel's Cannon, Czardas de Monti, Asturiaz d'Albeniz, Hungarian Brams Dances and Khachaturian's Sword Dance among others.
The violin solo, Eliad Floréa, of Romanian origin, who, in 2004, had just finished his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, a true virtuoso, is now at the Orchester National de Lyon. Aurore Voilqué went from viola to violin and took the path of Manouche Jazz, a style in which she excels. She has played with the greatest of this musical genre in many countries. She has also produced many records. Estelle Bartolucci is now at the Capitole de Toulouse Orchestra. Emma Piettre, as for her, regularly plays as a freelance in current music and travels the world by participating in many concerts.
