Concert croisé Afrokosmik

Four fascinating musical planets aligned in an energy enhancing Creole and Africanness, between tradition and modernity ... Come and immerse yourself in the heart of this universe which will take you beyond our borders on September 26, 2020 at the IFM in Rose Hill.

At the initiative of the artist and singer of the Koro group, Anouchka Massoudy, the collective brings together 12 singers and musicians for the Afrokosmik project. The latter meet from group to group, in jam sessions, artistic residencies ... It is on this occasion that affinities are created, that ideas and the desire to collaborate become clearer.

The public will have the opportunity to discover:
#BecauseWeAreArtists, a brand launched by an artist manager, Béatrice Maunick. A project that aims to support dancers and musicians in difficulty faced with Covid-19: a collection of t-shirts, available for sale on Teamonite.mu. 50% of sales revenues are mobilized to support their creation and production costs.

African Marquis, brand launched by the model and stylist Gabriel Froid, young stylist of 23 years. He also had the opportunity to show the brand MR LENOIR founded by the international footballer, Mr. Djibril Cissé. African Marquis is an ethnic and Afro-centric brand that offers a perfect blend of couture and culture through its flamboyant creations. Its collections celebrate diversity but also aim to strengthen the Mauritian-African diaspora.

Afrodite, a hair care brand, a product based on natural ingredients, made in Moris, manufactured and marketed by a promising and ingenious young entrepreneur, Kimberly Oxide.
Nirveda Alleck's exhibition `` How Black Are Your Thoughts? How dark are your thoughts? '' Will be open to the public on the evening of the concert. With this latest series of paintings produced during a creative residency in Paris in 2019, laureate Nirveda Alleck continues her research into identity and its representation. This exhibition shows the works that she produced during this creative stay in France. The artist will be present to interact with the public on the evening of the event. A projection of images taken in Africa is planned.
