Celebrate Women's Day with Jacqueline Dalais

On a day designed to eliminate discrimination against women, and celebrate the strong female characters that have shaped our lives, we honor one of the great culinary icons of Mauritius - Jacqueline Dalais.

Jacqueline is a woman who has inspired many chefs, starting her career cooking at Le Touessrok over 40 years ago. Her family owned the land, and would grill fresh and vibrant seafood from fishermen, that soon brought renowned celebrity names to the island just to taste her flavours!

We are hosting a special dinner, lead by the legendary Jacqueline Dalais, that showcases her wonderful food, and will be a truly beautiful night. In Jacqueline’s honour, every woman will receive a Champagne aperitif, as we toast to all women on International Women’s Day! 🥂

Rs. 3,500 per person or Rs. 5,500 for wine pairing

🍴🍷 Culinary Highlights to look forward to! 🍷🍴

Start off the evening with an aperitif of Scallops skewers and sea-immersed risotto paired with a delightful NV Champagne Duval Leroy Brut Reserve.

Enjoy the Chef’s garden salad with its duo of duck liver along with NV Champagne Duval Leroy Brut Rosé for a delectable starter.

For the main-course, choose from Red snapper fish filet, fennel and combava mousse paired with NV Duval Leroy Femme De champagne; Roasted lamb rack with fresh rosemary paired with NV Duval Leroy Blanc de Blanc; or Vegetable ‘mille feuilles’ with assorted wild mushroom risotto paired NV Duval Leroy Blanc de Blanc.

For a sweet end to the incredible evening, tuck in to a Madagascar chocolate crémeux, salted caramel sauce with passion fruit sherbet balanced with a delightful 2016 Bava Moscato d’Asti.
